(SALINA) – Two separate accidents occurred on I-70 yesterday afternoon and also this morning. Dispatch reports said that at about 6:40 this morning, a coal truck from Barney Trucking in Salina overturned at the Sufco Mine Road traveling eastbound while entering the on-ramp. Lanes of travel remained opened while crews arrived to tow the truck. Also, another dispatch report said that at about 3:20pm Tuesday, a single vehicle rollover occurred about a mile east of Salina on I-70 involving three people traveling eastbound. Extrication equipment was called in as well as Richfield ambulance. Further details of these accidents will be made available to us as information is provided.
