California travelers roll on I-70

(SIGURD) – Travelers from California sustained injuries on I-70 in a rollover near Sigurd early Sunday morning. A UHP report said that 34-year old, Natsuko Lauritzen was driving eastbound in a 2003 Ford van, when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled two to three times. Lauritzen had minor injuries but a passenger, 61-year old, Ikuko Hirano of Japan, was ejected and sustained two to three broken vertebrae and a two-year old baby in a rear car seat had no injuries. Also, another passenger, 48-year old, William Lauritzen, was in the front seat and sustained minor injuries. All were taken to the Sevier Valley Hospital for treatment. The group was headed for South Dakota.
