(Manti) Manti city has received a number of complaints about the number of mosquitoes in town this year, especially at the park and swimming pool. The city will be fogging those areas as well as other parts of the city tonight (Friday) and Wednesday July 2nd. The city council also held a public hearing on the new large animal ordinance before their regular meeting Wednesday night. Nine residents attended the meeting including several members of the committee assigned to rework the original ordinance. According to City Administrator Bill Mickelson, the general consensus was that the ordinance is well written with a few exceptions which the council has agreed to change. A final draft will be published soon and another public hearing will be held in July.
