(SALINA) – An Illinois man sustained multiple injuries on I-70 east of Salina last night when his motorcycle blew a rear tire. According to a UHP report, 22-year old, Andrew Johnson was traveling westbound on a 1990 BMW motorcycle at about 6:45pm when the accident happened. His motorcycle turned onto its right side, sliding from the lanes of travel. Johnson was wearing a helmet and was transported to the Sevier Valley Hospital.
