Ham Radio Demonstration

(Fairview) Amateur Ham Radio seems to be picking up steam throughout the country as natural disasters continue to show vulnerabilities in the mainstream communication systems. A demonstration of Ham Radio capabilities will take place this weekend on at the top of Skyline Drive above Fairview. The Utah DX Association will be showing how the technology works, and will also provide information on how to obtain a private Ham Radio license. There are around six hundred and fifty thousand Ham operators in the US, and over two million around the world providing a reliable communication network when disasters strike.
