Additionally, Ian Kinsler extended his hitting streak to a career-best 17 games, while David Murphy almost hit for the cycle for Texas as he only finished a triple short. Overall, the potent Rangers hit four home runs in the game which netted them an American League-best 73 dingers on the season, while Texas also improved to.500 for the first time in all season as the win put them at 30-30. Ryan Garko had three hits for the Indians in the loss.
